Fiumanka Eco Run delighted the participants

This year, as part of the Fiumanka manifestation, a sports-ecological activity named Fiumanka Eco Run. The first edition of this interesting race attracted a large number of participants.

The activity was jointly organized by Fiumanka, the Sports Recreation Association Sport for All, the Gorovo Sports Recreation Club from Opatija and the Torpedo Runners Association from Rijeka, who are responsible for the excellent technical performance of the race and the coordination of all activities on the field.

Fiumanka Eco Run was born from the idea of ​​organizing sports programs that combine sports with environmental actions, with the aim of raising awareness of the benefits of sports, issues of sustainability and environmental protection. This initiative is a continuation of the idea of ​​a regatta that is being prepared for the next edition of Fiumanka, within the European project Sail4Sustainability.
