Paper Fiumanka once again brings together the youngest sailors on Rijeka's Korzo

As part of the 27th Fiumanka, on Friday, June 12, starting at 9 a.m., at the Square of the 128th Brigade of the HV, the seventh edition of Papirnata Fiumanka, one of the most cheerful and creative programs for the youngest, initiated by the gallery, will be held A handful.

For seven years, the Paper Fiumanka has been bringing the world of the sea, sailing and maritime tradition closer to children through play, socializing and creativity. In a city that lives with the sea during the Fiumanka, this is exactly how the youngest create their first memories associated with sails, the regatta and the port of Rijeka.

Children will make their own boats from paper and recycled materials and symbolically launch them in the square, creating their own little regatta, accompanied by singing, dancing, and fun workshops.

A special experience for young participants was also prepared by River Gateway Thanks to which children will have the opportunity to set sail and learn first-hand about ships and navigation. We are sure that there will be no shortage of curiosity and questions, because the sea, ships and captains are often children's first fascinations.

Paper Fiumanka is part of the program by which Fiumanka promotes a love of the sea, and especially nurtures the connection of the youngest generations with the maritime identity of Rijeka.
